Klosterneuburg Abbey near Vienna

In this beautiful, historic and, for INK, very special place the “Entombment of Christ” encounters a tomb from 1498 of an unknown “Viennese Master” located in the Gallery of Modern Art. In all rooms of the Gallery of Modern Art, contemporary art meets existing works from the collection. A conversation spanning centuries.

For INK, the journey of this work is an incredibly great honor: from the art project in image, sound and word in the cathedral of Jossgrund to the world’s largest biennial for paper art in Italy to one of the greatest art treasures in Austria.
